Alive! Mental Health Fair is a fun, interactive and educational suicide prevention program aimed at college students. The fair raises awareness, trains the students to recognize warning signs and helps start the conversation about mental illness and suicide prevention. There are two interactive learning stations and two creative artistic stations where students can express their individuality and share their secrets, as well as positive messages of hope.

Sponsored by University Counseling Services, the Alive Fair is an interactive and educational suicide prevention program. It is designed to raise awareness, prepare students to recognize warning signs, and help start the conversation about mental illness and suicide prevention. The Virginia Leadership Academy (VLA) is an annual, drive-in leadership conference For Student Leaders At College Campuses Across The Commonwealth.
Young leaders have the chance to hear and learn from veteran student affairs professionals, local leaders and peers with unique perspectives. From this experience, participants will develop strategies to advance their understanding of how leaders function both within a team and individual settings. The VLA is an opportunity for student leaders from all campuses to make connections and influence change across Virginia.
Saturday, Sept. 14th starting at 10 am at VCU's University Student Commons and Activities. Registration begins at 8:30 am.

Mindfulness meditation is a practice to bring attention and awareness into the present moment. Join us for a 30 minute guided meditation led by BareSOUL Yoga in the ICA's top-floor gallery and explore artist Rashid Johnson's large-scale installation Monument, intended as a place to slow down and spend time. This practice invites all levels of meditation experiences whether you're a beginner or a skilled meditator. Chairs will be provided with an option to sit on the floor.

The da Vinci Center is seeking four artists to complete individual art installations inside their main building. Two walls are divided into four panels, all of which are 110 inches, or 9 feet tall. The width varies from panel to panel, and the exact measurement ranges from 40 inches to 56 inches. The art installation must not compromise the physical structure of the wall.
