Join your fellow Rams for a Night at the Museum at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture and their new exhibit, Determined!
In commemoration of the 400th anniversary of the arrival of the first enslaved Africans in British North America, Determined: The 400-Year Struggle for Black Equality examines the long history of black Americans as they have fought for freedom, equal justice, and access to opportunities. Their actions have pushed our nation ever closer to its ideal of universal equality.
Rams will enjoy exclusive access to the museum for self-guided tours of the exhbit, music, food, and reflection discussions.
Students must check in at the Student Commons loop or at the Museum to recieve a wrist-band and access to the event.
Shuttle service is available every 20 minutes between the Student Commons and the museum. The final shuttle to the event will depart the Commons at 8:15 pm. The final return shuttle to campus will depart the museum at 9:00 pm.
