The Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition (IGVC) is a multi-disciplinary, hands-on, theory based annual int'l robotics competition for teams of undergraduate and graduate students.
Independent of its SpaceX inspired roots, we are boldly taking hyperloop into a new direction. In collaboration with VCU AMA (American Marketing Association), we are introducing new projects and thoughts surrounding the organization. Our ongoing rebranding project strives to achieve a new face and direction that will allow us to expand into more diverse and exciting projects.
Sponsored by SpaceX from 2015-2019 annually, the Hyperloop Pod Competition had teams of both students and non-students participating to design and build a subscale prototype transport vehicle.
In September 2021, The Boring Company hosted the first Not-a-Boring Competition challenging engineering teams to build, design, and race their own tunneling machines.
The NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge is an annual competition for students in high school and college to design, build, and race human-powered, collapsible vehicles over stimulated lunar/Martian terrains.
