It's that time of the year again- happy fall! Spare a minute or two and get updated on our next meeting and a few exciting events & opportunities- we're not begging you to read this email though… unless..?
This Thursday (9/28) at 2pm in Snead Hall room B2165, we'll be holding our second meeting of the semester (Register Here). Professor Peter Savelyev will be joining us to talk about grad school options as well as some of his recent research.
Prof. Savelyev received his PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago. Prior to joining VCU, he worked at Vanderbilt University and the College of William & Mary. The topics of Prof. Savelyev's research are centered around child development, the role of soft skills, genetic endowments, and health and longevity.
We hope you can make it to meet him- this is also a great chance to learn about other fields of economics and to start thinking about your options after graduation!
