Boss Days

We enjoyed meeting everyone at the SOVO Fair this past Friday! There’s one more chance to connect with us and other business organizations this semester at BOSS Days in Snead Hall Atrium. Join us on September 4th from 12-3pm and September 5th from 3-6pm. Remember, our organization welcomes all majors and minors because everyone can benefit from our professional development opportunities to our community engagement activities!

Richmond SHRM Rising Professionals Conference 

The annual Rising Professionals Conference is happening on Thursday, September 19th from 3-5:30pm at the University of Richmond's Jepson Alumni Center!

This year's conference will feature educational sessions on these key themes:

  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Learn how to forecast future talent needs and align workforce capabilities with organizational goals.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Initiatives: Explore strategies for fostering diverse, inclusive workplaces that enhance innovation and collaboration.
  • HR Analytics and Data-Driven Decision Making: Discover how to leverage data insights to drive HR initiatives and enhance organizational performance.

This event is perfect for college students interested in HR and those new to the field looking to jumpstart their careers.

The conference is free to attend, but registration is required by Friday, September 13th.
