Topic of this week: Regenerative Economy

Feral University, is an initiative founded by an informal network of high school and college educators in Virginia. The establishment of this group is in response to the State Government's educational policies, which have imposed ideological restrictions on public school curriculums. Beyond these immediate concerns, we are also committed to addressing the broader neoliberal trends in education, such as increasing privatization, competition, and perpetuating a Eurocentric worldview, which collectively hinders the development of equitable and holistic learning environments. This series aims to delve into a rich array of topics, providing a platform for fresh insights from a different expert each week.

In our first sessions, we will address themes like identity, social justice, and environmental sustainability in graphic novels. We'll discuss how these narratives resonate with young audiences and promote critical understanding through various Indigenous frameworks. Additionally, we'll explore practical approaches to creating resilient campus environments, focusing on initiatives that support ecological health and community well-being.

We believe these discussions will not only illuminate their respective topics but also encourage dialogue and foster a collaborative learning environment for all attendees.

This is your chance to connect, learn, and innovate—sign up today and take the first step towards expanding your horizons! Secure your spot, register here to attend our first seminar and be part of these meaningful conversations. We can’t wait to see you there!
