About Us
As an extension of the TRIO programs at VCU, the TRIO Student Organization (TSO) at VCU fosters a safe and welcoming social community for TRIO and TRIO-eligible students. By offering engaging events and peer connections that complement TRIO’s academic and professional support, TSO empowers members to overcome challenges, build lasting relationships, and thrive in college and beyond. Not sure if you are TRIO eligible? No worries! We serve first-generation, low-income, and students with disabilities, as well as underrepresented students in graduate education. Despite TRIO eligibility requirements, we strive to be a safe community for ALL at VCU!
