The Leadership Council for the College of Humanities and Sciences
The Leadership Council for the College of Humanities of Sciences (CHS) is a student organization at VCU and consists of students from various majors committed to fostering interdisciplinary exchange within the college. The main goals of the council are to build unity and a sense of identity in CHS, promote interdisciplinary exchange and academic excellence, and help build relationships between students and faculty through events and projects.
You become a council member!
Council Members hold a position as representatives for their major. By being a representative for their major, they have the ability to hold meetings with their department heads or deans to discuss and resolve issues within their major.
Council members also help to create events for the general College of Humanities and Sciences community. Events range from career-building to social events.
Through this, we are working to create stronger relationships between students and faculty as well as, bring the diverse array of students within the CHS together
We realize that the CHS is home to many different majors and with events, we want to unify the majors.
