Sisters of Computer Science of VCU (SoCS of VCU) aims to promote the academic enrichment of community youth in the field of computer science in addition to diversity, equity, and inclusion. SoCS of VCU has the goal of spreading knowledge surrounding computer science and its application in order to create a society that is composed of all, and works to serve all. SoCS serves to increase STEM interest and involvement among Richmond and surrounding-area children.

Group membership includes many benefits, including access to experts in their respective fields.
This organization does not restrict membership based on race, color, religion, national origin (including ethnicity), age, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions), parenting status, marital status, political affiliation, military status (including veteran status), genetic information (including family medical history), sexual orientation, gender identify, gender expression, or disability.
