About Us
The core purpose of this organization will be to give Virginia Commonwealth University students the chance to participate in Remote Area Medical (RAM) trips focused on providing free services to those who are unable to afford medical care themselves and for those who do not have access to hospitals or healthcare facilities in their area. Through this organization, members will have the opportunity to volunteer and travel to RAM clinics across the nation. This will be an especially valuable experience to aspiring healthcare professionals. This organization will aspire to promote quality healthcare both locally and nationally to the fullest of its abilities. This club wishes to embody the principles and values of RAM which are listed below.
