Utilize the Announcements section to share your opportunities with folks on the platform. An image or flyer will help your post stand out! Make sure to include any relevant links so folks can get in touch.
On your group dashboard, navigate to “Forum”. Select a default category, such as "General", or create/edit a category to reflect what kinds of announcements you’d like to share. Select "Create a Post" and share information about your opportunity! This post will appear on your group page for both members and other folks on the platform to view!
On your group dashboard, navigate to “Emails” and “Compose Email”. Select your group members, or your group contacts for a wider reach. Utilize the email builder and advertise your upcoming opportunities! Check out our user guide for more information.
Make sure your volunteer opportunities appear on our new Service Opportunities page! On the Event Creation form, make sure to select “Yes” for “List this event under the Service Opportunities section”.
Is your opportunity relevant to the entirety of the VCU student body? Are you sharing a campus-wide announcement or event? Request a banner for our homepage! Banners should be 1200W and 200H, and should include either a relevant event posting currently on RamsConnect, or a link. Requests can be sent to ramsconnect@vcu.edu.
