About Us
The mission of RAMPSRVA @ VCU is to empower students to advance accessibility and independence for individuals who rely on wheelchairs. Through partnership with RampsRVA, our organization provides education, advocacy, and hands-on service by organizing volunteers to help build modular wheelchair ramps, raising awareness about disability equity, and fostering a culture of inclusivity both on campus and in the greater Richmond community. RampsRVA is a 501c3, non-profit organization and we are an affiliated, VCU chapter under their jurisdiction.
