About Us

PRISM is the LGBTQIA+ programming division of the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA). Formerly known as "Queer Initiatives," PRISM stands for Programs Reimagining Identity, Sexuality, & Membership. PRISM aims to help queer students at VCU: 1) connect with LGBTQIA+ community, 2) explore their own senses of identity through discussions and meeting possibility models, and 3) learn about the diverse range of experiences within the queer community.
