PTSO Holiday Bake Swap & Gathering

Come relax with colleagues and friends during exam week with holiday themed music and decorations, fresh baked goods and hot chocolate! That's what the PTSO bake swap and holiday gathering is all about.

If you love baking or just love sweet treats, we encourage you to sign up on ramsconnect and "buy-in" with a $5.00 donation given via cash or Venmo. Those who sign up are expected to bring one baked good, a batch of cookies or something, whether it's bought or homemade. You can definitely bring more if you want! Those who sign up ahead of time will be allowed to bring home whatever they want of equal value to what they brought. Don't worry, if you don't sign up ahead of time or just don't want to bring something, extra baked goods will be available for purchase for $5. It's a great opportunity to try new things, get some yummy treats and maybe take something home for the holidays! We will also be doing a cookie decorating station for people who want to relax and decorate something yummy! Buy your own bag of cookies to decorate and bring home!

THE SIGN UP IS ONLY FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE BAKE SWAP, if you would just like to attend, stop by for free! Please submit your donation to Alaina Jaster or Harrison Elder via cash or Venmo @Alaina-jaster13.

If you plan on bringing items to the bake swap, please bring them in ready to go containers (like aluminum pans, plastic bags, or boxes) and clearly indicate if there are nuts present.

Please contact Alaina via email (jastera@vcu.edu) or phone (586-229-3902) if you have any severe allergies, questions or would like to drop off anything ahead of time for the bake swap. All items should be brought to the Smith Building Lobby or to Alaina by 1:30pm on the 15th.

All the funds will be going toward the PTSO so we can keep having awesome events for years to come without charging students a member fee!
