About Us

The Pediatrics Interest Group at VCU School of Medicine is a group dedicated to introducing students to the medical specialty of pediatrics, and allowing students further exposure in this field. We host an annual conference where the VCU and Richmond community can interact with pediatricians and other professionals involved in pediatric health care, while gaining hands-on experience through workshops and panel discussions. Additionally, we host numerous lunch lectures throughout the year where students can learn about selected topics in pediatrics in a casual setting.
