First Year Family Welcome Back Reception

Start Family Weekend by celebrating the people who make up your “Ramily”—whether that’s family, friends, or your VCU community! Hosted in collaboration with the Orientation and Transition Programs office and the You First: First-Generation Student Experience office, this event invites you to take photos together, create a gratitude jar to capture the moments that matter, and share time in a welcoming space full of connection and joy. Light refreshments and mocktails will be provided as we kick off the weekend with warmth and community spirit.
