About Us

The Neuroscience Interest Group is an organization based in the Neuroscience Graduate Program at Virginia Commonwealth University. Our central mission is to connect individuals with an interest in neuroscience through professional, academic, and social events focused on neuroscience and neuroscience-related topics. We also aim to provide professional development services to support members in the pursuit of career goals. Further, we are committed to educating the general public about science by organizing public outreach activities in the Greater Richmond community.
