About Us

The Integrative Life Sciences Student Organization (ILSSO) is committed to promoting the academic and professional development of doctoral students and candidates in the Integrative Life Sciences program at VCU. ILSSO strives to foster a community network for current students and provide support for their advancement in the sciences. ILSSO aims to do the following: • Represent graduate student interest and voice in the department • Establish collaborations between the MCV and Monroe Park campuses by bringing ILS students together • Provide resources such as travel support and networking opportunities • Create opportunities for teaching and outreach • Organize social events and outings to enhance the graduate experience
