Ask-a-Postdoc Panel: A chance for grad students to chat with postdocs about their skills and experience

What is a postdoc, and what's it like to be a VCU postdoc? How do you apply for and ultimately earn a postdoc position? What are some key skills and resources that postdocs find most useful in their research or wish they knew about as a grad student? The Ask-a-Postdoc Panel is a chance for grad students to chat with a panel of 4–5 VCU postdocs from different departments and at various stages in their postdoc tenures about (a) their current research, and (b) the postdoc experience. This event is a collaboration between the VCU Grad Student Association, VCU Postdoctoral Association, and the How-To Talks By Postdocs series; the topics discussed will potentially be revisited as How-To Talks in the following semester.
