About Us

The Graduate Student Association (GSA) provides many valuable services to the graduate student body at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), beginning at the start of the Fall semester with Graduate Student Orientation for new graduate students. GSA organizes two Graduate Faculty & Student Meet & Greets, one during each semester; the Graduate Research Symposium & Exhibit in the Spring; and monthly socials throughout the school year. The GSA also helps to place graduate students on campus-wide committees, where they represent the voice and express the concerns of the graduate students of VCU.

Elections are held every spring semester for the following roles: Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Communications Chair, Events Chair, Appropriations Chair and Research Symposium Chair.
