Just Write! Formatting Dissertation Texts and References

Join us at Cabell Library for a write-in event. This day-long event will provide a quiet space to write with other students during the day. a librarian will be on-site for you to ask questions.

Lunch Workshop:
A dissertation may be the biggest document most researchers have worked on, and there are several complicated formatting tasks to do when creating a document with chapters, tables of figures, and several dozen citations. This session will go over the mechanics of dissertations in Word: numbering pages before the text, creating a table of contents, creating tables of figures, outputting citations from Zotero in-text and at the end, and changing the formatting of the references.
