About Us
Global Medical Training (GMT) is an international non-profit organization that provides free healthcare services to underprivileged communities around the world, most commonly in Central and South America. In addition to these services, GMT provides an opportunity for pre-health students to learn more about the beauty of medicine and dentistry through interactive learning and hands-on experiences, and educate students on cultural, social, and political life in the region.As a local chapter, we are also committed to discussion and education of world health disparities and community service in our local area. We actively raise money, collect hygiene supplies, and volunteer within the local community serving varying populations and ages. Our goal is to provide for communities locally to paint a picture of the importance of what we do globally.
