Eritrean Day

ESA at VCU would like to present Eritrean Day. On Saturday, April 20th at 3 PM, please find us in the Academic Learning Commons, Room 1107, for a celebration of our culture. We will be joined by our guest speakers, Dr. Tedros Araya, a dentist in the Research Triangle Park Area of North Carolina and Semhar Woldeslassie, a compliance manager for Wells Fargo based in Houston, Texas. Both of our guest speakers are alumni of VCU and will speak on life as an Eritrean during their attendance here. In addition to our amazing guest speakers, we plan on hosting a Kahoot game, where we will be providing a prize to the winner and a fashion show, where we will showcase our beautiful country by representing the cultural dress of each of the 9 ethnic groups. To make this a successful event, we ask that you invite your friends and family, so that they may learn more about the rich history and culture our country has to offer.
