About Us

The Eritrean Student Association of Virginia Commonwealth University (ESA-VCU) is dedicated to: promoting and enhancing the VCU community's awareness of Eritrea: its history, culture, and traditions by serving as ambassadors of the Eritrean-American community and creating opportunities for better understanding; promoting, advocating and advancing intellectual and professional development, leadership and community service in the Eritrean-American Communities of the Commonwealth and the adjacent States; providing programs that support and serve the academic and social needs of ESA members while at VCU; serving as model students for perspective VCU students.
