VCU International Summer Institute Renaissance in Rome. Dr. Jill Blondin will be teaching ARTH 3xx: Renaissance in Rome during American University of Rome’s Summer Session 2 from June 22 - July 23, 2026. In addition, students will take another 3-credit course from AUR’s wide range of English-instructed academic disciplines for a total of 6 credits earned. Join VCU GEO's Vice provost for global initiatives Dr. Jill Blondin and VCU GEO's Alex Heyden for a virtual information session on Thursday, December 4 2025 from 3:00PM - 4:00PM to learn more about how you can study at the American University of Rome (AUR) this summer. Take Dr. Blondin's ARTH 3xx "Renaissance in Rome" and one other AUR summer course to earn 6 credits and spend 4 weeks in this historic and dynamic city!

An in-person information session will also be offered November 12 at 12pm.
