Mission
VCU encourages students from every academic discipline to pursue part of their university education in an international setting by studying abroad. Education abroad benefits students academically, professionally and personally. Students are encouraged to study in a foreign country for any length of time including summer, winter session, spring break, a semester or a full academic year as part of their degree program. The VCU Education Abroad office assists students in accomplishing these goals by providing information, advising and administering study abroad and exchange programs.

Membership Benefits
By joining the VCU Global Education Office Education Abroad group, you'll be among the first to know about any Education Abroad and Global Learning activities and events on campus. These events range from social opportunities to meet other Rams, popular events with limited capacity (such as our Thanksgiving Dinner and Sushi-making nights, which always sell-out), and informational workshops and sessions regarding international opportunities.
