About Us
Club Teddies is a student-led service organization dedicated to spreading warmth, dignity, and care to underserved communities including individuals experiencing homelessness, low-income families, and hospital patients in need within the Richmond Metropolitan Area. We are dedicated to uplifting underserved populations including individuals experiencing homelessness, low-income families, and patients in need through hands-on service, relationship-building, and acts of kindness. We create and distribute care kits to local homeless shelters and community clinics, filled with essentials and comforting items. Our mission also includes volunteering and building collaborative relationships with VCU’s MCV Hospital, where we hope to support patients through acts of compassion and thoughtful service projects. The name Club Teddies reflects our guiding belief: Just like how a teddy bear offers comfort in life’s darkest hours, we aim to be a source of steady support and reassurance for those navigating hardship. Whether it's a hygiene kit, a handmade note, or a warm smile, we’re here to remind people that they’re not alone. <3
