What is Recreational Climbing Club?
Recreational Climbing Club upholds the original mission of the Climbing Club at VCU. That mission was to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for climbers of all skills and backgrounds and to grow the climbing community at VCU. No experience is required, and practice and equipment check-out are free as long as you are a VCU student/faculty with a valid VCU ID!
Meeting Times/Days
Tuesday 7:45pm -9:45pm at Cary Street Gym
Thursday 7:45pm - 9:45pm at Cary Street Gym
Dues (per semester)
We want to keep climbing and club as low-cost and low-(financial) stress as possible.
Dues are $5 per semester and are due within the first two weeks of meeintgs.
The funds collected from dues will go toward fun club events such as a Halloween social event, fun little prizes, etc!
Requirements
The only requirement to come join the Climbing club are that you complete a waiver! Find the waiver below on the RecWell website (just make sure you are logged into your VCU account)!
