Mission
The Biomedical Graduate Student Council (BGSC) at Virginia Commonwealth University was
established to improve representation of biomedical graduate students by providing a direct point
of communication between students and faculty. We aim to grow the program by promoting
interdepartmental collaboration, professional development, recruitment, community outreach, as
well as promoting the VCU BME community through social events. We hereby establish this
constitution.
