Our Mission

Virtual Shadowing at VCU strives to provide students with an opportunity to gain shadowing experience through a virtual platform and allow students to speak directly to physicians and gain insight about their work.

How Virtual Shadowing Works

Virtual Shadowing at VCU will be hosting weekly zoom meetings with physicians in various health care fields. After attending a full shadowing session, attendance will be verified by the completion of a 5-6 sentence reflection. Once the reflection is submitted, students will receive certification for their completed hours signed by the physician.
