Black History Month presents Misperceptions of Black Women. This weekly lunch and learn series invites a range of guest hosts with expertise and lived experience to share the origins of these misperceptions and explore the complex realities behind them. Each week we’ll work together to dismantle these myths, and build the common cultural knowledge that Black women are more than enough.

In this week's lunch and learn we will explore the Mystery of the “Strong” Black Woman. Join us as we unpack the impact of social messages, ideals, and perceptions of Black women as being “strong."
