Mission
STAR@VCU is dedicated to helping refugees, immigrants, and other migrants in the local RVA community. We seek to raise awareness among our VCU peers through conversation and mobilize them in volunteership to build a safe and inclusive environment for refugee and migrant resettlement, while focusing on aiding their access healthcare and education. Our hope is to shine light on the neglected displacement crisis happening in our own backyards.
