Mission
It shall be the purpose of this organization to empower students in trading financial instruments
delineated to long only domestic equities. Members are required to complete training upon
entrance of the organization at minimum of one academic semester. SMIP is able to accept
beyond business students in pursuance of fields of study which can be beneficial to the analysis
of specific sectors. Members gain experience through completing financial analysis on
performance of stocks, qualitative and quantitate company information, and sector and economic
outlooks. SMIP refines and develops member's financial analysis skills, presentation skills,
interpersonal skills, and their ability to effectively and efficiently report pertinent info about the
portfolio.
