About Us

Ram Racing is a multidisciplinary organization with a mission to design and build Formula 1, Formula E, and Mini Baja race cars from scratch. This organization brings together students and faculty who have a passion for engineering and cars. We enable our members to gain real world experience in design, business, and engineering that applies the theories we learn in the classroom. Our most recent vehicle, VCU-02, competed in the International Formula SAE competition in the summer of 2019 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Since then our motorsports team has expanded to Formula SAE Electric and Baja SAE competitions. Our team intends to compete with our newest car VCU-03 in Formula SAE IC in 2024. VCU- E1 our electric car and VCU-B1 are both on track to compete in 2025-2026.
