Too many key leaders of history go unheard or unnoticed, despite their tremendous impact in their time and enduring legacy today. Lessons in Leadership, a program of the Office of Student Leadership and Engaged Learning, highlights these leaders by exploring their stories and seeing what we can learn from them today. Join us to learn more about Dr. Susan La Flesche Picotte, the first Indigenous person to receive a medical degree in the United States. This session will involve a screening of a documentary produced by the Nebraska Commission on Indian Affairs

This is a hybrid event. Participants can join in person or online via Zoom.
