Flyer for The Myth of Black Male Exceptionalism: An Experience for Men of Color

During his Ted talk, historian and speaker Tyree Boyd-Pates states that: The Myth of Black male exceptionalism has only gotten worse with the election of the first Black president, President Barack Obama.

This brief Ted Talk will be shown, followed by a facilitated discussion. The event will take place on 2/15 from 12pm-1:30pm in the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (located on the 2nd floor of the University Commons in Suite 215). Lunch will be provided, so please make sure to register!
