Experience the history and majesty of historic Jackson Ward known as the Harlem of the South with local historian Gary Flowers. Just minutes away from VCU's campus. This walk through Richmond's downtown area will provide wonderful context for Richmond's local African American history. This tour will take place rain or shine. Wear comfortable shoes. The walk is a little over one mile.
