Externship Lunch & Learn

Join Richmond SHRM on Tuesday, April 16th, from 12:00 to 1:00pm for a virtual session focused on Externship Program Development. Inspired by the outstanding work of former board member, Cheron Smalls, Director of Human Resources and Talent Management at RiverFront Investment Group, this session aims to delve into creating successful externship programs.

During the session, you’ll have the privilege of hearing directly from Cheron about her experiences, insights, and the strategies she employed to develop her program. Following her presentation, we'll open the floor for Q&A, where you'll have the opportunity to ask questions, brainstorm ideas, and workshop potential strategies. The goal is for participants to leave the session with actionable insights, a business case to bring to leadership, and potentially even a plan of action for implementing similar programs within their own organizations.
